People were bringing children to Jesus so that he would bless them...and said to them, “Allow the children to come to me. Don’t forbid them, because God’s kingdom belongs to people like these children.
Community United Methodist Church is committed to partnering with parents to pass on our faith to the next generation. There are a variety of activities to choose from - everything from Sunday school to service opportunities. In addition to Sunday school, music ministry and service opportunities, CUMC also offers plenty of fellowship opportunities including picnics, family events, Easter egg hunts, a fall harvest, and hanging of the greens just to name a few.
From paid staff to volunteers, all who are involved in leading children's ministries are aware of the Child Protection Policy and all CUMC activities with youth and/or children follow those guidelines.
The church nursery has a staff of paid workers with certification in first aid and CPR. There are at least two adults on duty at all times per our Child Protection Policy. Thank you for entrusting your children to our care.
