AXIS "Coming Alive" Retreat was simply incredible! We talked about and meditated on Christ's final hours here on earth. As we walked through the death, burial, and resurrection we saw that His ultimate strength was love! Just as the prophecies and Christ had foretold of him coming alive three days later, we too can come alive in our everyday life through Christ! We all have a story, and in that story God has a big plan for us! This weekend we spent coming back alive in Christ so we can tell our story, and live out His plan!
We are a student ministry growing with your youth in mind! "STUDENTS!" no matter where you are in your spiritual walk, there is a place for you. It is God's desire that we love one another, and it is in that spirit of love and friendship our doors are open to all!Come join us and experience God as we grow in Him together!

AXIS Bible Study : April 10 - June 5
Wednesdays : 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm. Come hand out for this 9 week Bible Study to discuss some essentials to theology. We have had a great group coming out. Don't miss out!

The students here at Community Church know that our outreach is simply sharing the love of Jesus in a practical way, and being that mirrored image of what Christianity is all about. Opportunities spread from community projects, beach witnessing, and simply being a good reflection to our peers around us of God's true and constant love for us. You'll be psyched to see how BIG of an impact YOU can make!

June 9th Montero Medical Mission's Luncheon
This Luncheon is to support Steve's mission trip to the Philippines where he will be sharing God's love and word with the people of Surigao del Sur province in Mindanao. Steve will also serve by praying with the patients undergoing surgery, assisting with Diabetes Screening Project, helping optometrists and surgeons, and assisting in the Prosthetics Walking Freely Inaugural Program. Please come support this effort.
June 9 Baccalaureate 4 pm - 6 pm
SENIORS! It's your time to shine! This year we are celebrating your huge success and conquered endeavors through your High School career through a Baccalaureate service here at CUMC from 4 pm - 6 pm. Here is what I need. PHOTOS!! (baby-senior pics). Please start bringing those in and giving them to Steve by May 19th. We want to see and show everyone how you have become who you are. June 23-29 Appalachian Service Project - ASP 2013 : Radical Reversal - Mark 10:43-45
This mission trip is built for out students to have an experience blessing others not as fortunate in the appalachian area by rebuilding, or remodeling homes. This mission trip will not only build their teamwork skills, but will grow them closer to their peers and leaders in our group, teach them how to give selflessly, build personal spiritual goals, and bring them home wanting to give and do more! This will be a lasting experience for everyone that is a part of this awesome trip. Please keep your eyes open and listen up for registration and all coming very soon. July 14th ASP TAKEOVER SERVICE
The ASP Team will be taking over all 3 services this Sunday morning to share their experiences from our very recent
trip to the Appalachian area to serve. This will be comprised of video, pictures, and stories from the students.

This is the Elizabeth Districts large camp for 3rd - 6th grade students. This year Steve will be leading the Technology Station. Students, if you would like to volunteer to help with any of the stations available this year at Camp Gotcha please chat with Steve! Some opportunities to be had as a volunteer; hiking, canoeing, the beach, WIRED station, craft station, science station, and so many more!
August 4 STUDENT FALL KICKOFF - Rising 6th Graders, this is the time you have all been waiting for! From 5 pm - 8 pm 8/4 we will be inducting you into our AXIS Student Ministry here at CUMC! This will be a evening full of fun and games, as well as an opportunity to meet the rest of the group! ALL Parents, please make it a point to be with us for the first hour. Steve wants to meet new parents and families, and revisit his vision and talk about all the great opportunities we have her in our Student Ministry for you to be a part of!
